Greg Freeman Announces New Album All Set The Bone + Releases Lead Single "Indu"

Today,  Greg Freeman  announces his anticipated new album,  All Set The Bone , with a video for its instantly memorable and explosive lead single “ Indu .” The John Congelton-produced album is due October 2nd.  Greg has also announced his biggest US tour yet. Jawdropped Signs to Transgressive/ Canvasback

  Jawdropped , the rising band from Los Angeles, have signed to Transgressive Records / Canvasback .   Today, Rocket have released their highly anticipated debut album,  R is for Rocket . Available now  HERE .  “We dedicated this record to Alithea’s dad, who passed away unexpectedly this year,” the band shared in a heartfelt statement. “Choosing him as the cover was the perfect way to immortalize him forever on our first record. In Greg's words, "I was trying to look up lists of 'obscure expressions,' as in like weird old phrases or proverbs.The first thing that came up was 'Gallic Shrug,' a kind of niche physical expression, usually associated with French people–to convey indifference or lack of responsibility. Greg Freeman Releases "Curtain" Off Upcoming Album Burnover Out August 22nd

‘ Curtain’   is the new single from Greg Freeman and the second to be revealed from his forthcoming album   Burnover,   set for release on   August 22nd. Pre-order available now  HERE .  The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Carl Elsaesser and uses repurposed footage from one of Carl’s short films. Describing the track as “a love song of sorts,” Greg notes its spontaneous feel, sharing that the vocals were likely a first take to preserve a free-flowing, unpolished quality. The song features subtle touches like barnyard animal sounds, but Freeman credits Cam and Sam’s performances on soprano saxophone and piano as the elements that “really made the song." Rocket Release New Single "One Million" + Announce First US Headline Tour

  Rocket are back with a release of their first new single  "One Million"  since announcing our signing and reissuing their debut EP  Versions of You . The track opens with wailing guitar leads before breaking into the harmony laden verse and soaring chorus.  In the band's words,  “‘One Million’ is about wanting someone to meet you halfway but not knowing if they ever will,” share the band. “It’s the feeling of doing everything you can, going above and beyond for someone, knowing that you would wait a million years for them just to notice how important they are to you. Today, Greg Freeman releases "Point and Shoot," the first single off his stellar new album Burnover , which will be out on August 22nd. Rocket share new single “ Take Your Aim .” The blistering new track was written shortly after the release of their 2023 debut EP Versions of You , and will appear on the tracklist of the newly reissued EP, available on vinyl & CD for the first time via Transgressive Records / Canvasback, out April 18th. Greg Freeman signs to Transgressive / Canvasback

  ‘ I Looked Out ’ is the debut album from Vermont’s finest, Greg Freeman. Having recently signed with Canvasback / Transgressive Records, his critically acclaimed debut album is being re-released today, complete with two bonus tracks. On 17th January 2025, the album will also be released for the first ever on vinyl. This reissue features a new rendition of “Long Distance Driver (Acoustic),” which includes a special collaboration with Merce Lemon. Speaking about the track, Greg says “I wrote this song a few years ago, when the world was entering a scary and uncertain time, and hope seemed fleeting and very far in the distance. The song is about wanting to find connection in such a world. In a way, it feels like an old song to me at this point, but that place of uncertainty feels even more pronounced than when I wrote it.
